Good Local was created from a simple frustration: keeping up with your own city shouldn’t feel like work.

Local news lives in one place. Events live somewhere else. New restaurants and openings are scattered across social media. Important civic updates are buried in long articles, while the things that actually make you excited to live where you live can be surprisingly hard to find.

We wanted something simpler.

So we built Good Local: a short, useful daily email that brings together what’s worth knowing in your city — local news, events, new places, recommendations, and the civic matters that affect everyday life.
